Quick repair, fair price.

I’ve been working with Joe and his team for two+ years now, and I truly can’t say enough about how much I trust their work and opinion. I originally found Joe after a random recommendation from a guy at O’Reilly Auto Parts—and thank goodness for him! I had been chasing the exact same check engine light for a year, paying two other mechanics to replace several small parts and one very expensive component (turbo issues), but the light kept coming back. During my first visit, Joe listened patiently to my ramblings about a code that kept presenting differently. Thinking outside the box, he ran a compression test and immediately found the root problem that the other mechanics had missed for years. He walked me through my options—repairing the engine vs. getting a new car—and never once pressured me into a decision that would benefit his shop. In fact, he honestly advised that getting a new car was the smarter path. I ended up driving my slowly dying car for another year or so before it finally gave up, but Joe’s team has had my back ever since. Since then, he has worked on my mother’s car, completed a successful pre-purchase inspection (PPI) for my nephew, and saved me from buying two other money pits (I apparently have a knack for liking cars with engine problems!). My daughter-in-law is currently working with his shop after a recent accident, and my son and I are relying on them as we look for our next used vehicles. Finding an honest, skilled, and truly customer-focused mechanic is rare. Joe and his team are the absolute best, and they’ve earned a customer for life!

Absolutely love this place and the staff! My daughter bought her first car in Salem and it immediately starting acting up. We called the guys at Pro-Tech and they even came out to jump the car and get it back to their shop to start working on. These guys are amazing! Im a single mom of three and know enough about car but felt completely mislead and scammed by the dealership. It felt so nice to not feel taken advantage of because I'm a woman. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Pro-Tech went above and beyond!!

Took awhile purely because of the issues with the Nissan warranty company, however the service I did receive from this location was good, bob was kind and helpful, and my car has been running great since!
